CLUBS WORKING TOWARDS ACHIEVING CHARTER STANDARD STATUS

Especially for clubs, leagues and volunteers there is a new FA web site called 'YOUR GAME' - Click Here

Clubs can collect up their evidence and put it in a file as hard copy or they can provide copies of files on a Memory stick.

They also need to complete the Application form, this can be done by printing it out and writing on it or completing this as a file on the computer.

Being a CS club means that there are certain codes policies and rules that clubs should abide by. Also on the link above ! All volunteers with direct access to children should be CRB checked and should attend a Safeguarding Children course. You need 2 adults to be working with each team, at least 1 of these should be level 1 qualified. Every 3 years the Emergency Aid and Safeguarding children qualifications need to be renewed and updated. Clubs will need to attend inservice events, one will be arranged in the South in Spring 2012.
